The design of the exterior is similar to the Silverado 1500. The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD is larger in size and features a larger cabin and bed than its predecessor. The engine will also be a new 6.6L V-8 engine that runs on good old gasoline which produces a whopping 400 horses of power with 450 pound-feet of torque. The Sierra 2500HD models use a new GM 8-speed heavy duty transmission while the Sierra 3500HD models use a new 9-speed Allison heavy duty automatic transmission.
